"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."
Oh My God! Where did you find this? I laughed so hard I had tears. I love that Raven and I love that PIG! What a doll. I would like to hang out in that house, looks very interesting :-). I have ravens on my blog as well...xoxo
Aw how wonderful. I even started feeling sorry for the polite pig who was even asking the human to intervene as it just wasn't fair. LOL
I've just read Corvus -A Life With Birds by Esther Woolfson which was a good read about a lady who took in birds and lives with them in her house. Recommended.
Ooo I've found out why I don't get told when you update- apparently it's something to do with a URL feed.
lol! So cute! And completely crazy. I half expect an elephant to walk in the room. ;))
Robin - for some reason, I can't add your blog to my side bar! I didn't want you to think I don't love you! :) It gives me some weird message (maybe that is what Melanie is talking about, too).
Suki.... it is pretty astounding.....at first, I had the sound turned low....so I just "assumed" this took place in England....after listening again - I detected American accents....wonder where they live?
Hello Melanie....thnak you for the book recommendation....I have made a note of it and will be on the lookout for it.
That "poor" Pig...his expressions were so adorable.....you could really tell what he was thinking!
Thanks for the tip about my sidebar problem....I have tried numerous things...but nothing seems to work. Lo seems to have figured out a way though - as I now appear on her sidebar.....I will ask her the next time we talk!
Pameee.... never fear, we "Halloween Girls" will always love each other! just wrote to Melanie (above) that Lo seems to have figured out a way to have my blog update on her sidebar....I will ask her what she did.
A lover of all of life's beauties - music, poetry, nature, animals, the ever-changing moon, the smell of jasmine at twilight. Thunder and lightning in the Summertime. The smell of Pinon after the rain. Running through crisp, multi-coloured Autumn leaves with my favourite Chocolate Lab, Walking in the first snowfall of Winter and tasting snow on my tongue. Believing in the power of love - no matter what...

Now that's something you don't see every day- pigs & ravens in the house! The Pig was timid, but persistent!
ReplyDeleteAwww...a happy ending, just by coincidence of course...
