Spring Morning at the de Young
I promise this will not be an all trees/flowers blog....but I had to photograph these beauties! I am a volunteer at San Francisco's de Young Museum and this morning, discovered these just outside the main entrance to the museum. Does anyone know what they are called?
I l♥ve them!
Hugs to all,
♥ Robin ♥

Thanks for stopping by Robin and sure you get points for knowing what the peepers are...now what you do with those points is up to you!

ReplyDeletei'm pretty sure they are lupines.
ReplyDeletei wanted to be the first to say. i'm such a showoff.
:)
Welcome to Blogland Robin. I've popped over from Annie Coe's.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers. I was going to say lupins but they have a palmate foliage so now I'm not so sure.
Mim and Melanie, thank you both for the warm welcome!
ReplyDeleteMim, I will "stash" those points for a "rainy day".
KJ...thank you m'dear! Lupines....or Lupins,
(from Melanie)- they are wonderful blooms - and sort of ironic as the street I live on segues into a Lupine Street.... I always thought it was Wolf-related! Ha-ha! ♥
L♥ve you, Anne!
We call them Lupine here........but the leaves seems different.....so no idea actually. But they are lovely!
ReplyDeletehave a nice spring day!
