  4. I have tears of laughter coming out of my squinty eyes!!
When this dog gets older it may not be able to withstand so much time on it's hind legs, but if it was having difficulty now he/she wouldn't be able to do this. I think the dog is so willing to please, and the "master" obviously loves this animal. I will say perhaps it was a bit too long for the dog though. Still, it gets a HUGE bravo from me!
And let's not forget, dacing with your dogs is a well respected event now. Perhaps they're contenders ;)

    Thanks for the smiles!!

(You're STILL on the phone with my chatterbox hubby.)

    hahaha!!

  5. Ladies, I , too had reservations about "La Senorita" on her hind legs for so long a time.....but she does look happy and not in any discomfort.... so, I posted it.

Lo, can't help it....when I get on the phone with Brian, I am just a "Sports Jockette".... and I have no one else to share with! Your husband is one awesome guy....

    Love you all!

  6. OMG, Robin! lol! How DID he train her to do that? I can't get my dog to sit - hahaha! And I watched very carefully, and her tail wagged several times while she was dancing. :)) And the owner seemed to love her. Still, I think it was a little long. I got tired for her! Amazing. xox Pam

  7. Pam.... it was an amazing sight to me.... but I saw her tail wagging too..... he her owner does seem to love her.... they must have spent HOURS and HOURS learning the routine....and that takes love and trust on both parts....

    Love,

  8. I loved this. I have seen that dog do another routine or another one like this. Also have seen a border collie do a dance to 'Me and my shadow" with its master. We have a Border collie and she loves to stand up and jump high. She does it when we try not to let her do it. I dont want her to wear out her joints. But its hard to get her to quit. So some dogs are just naturals.
Thank you also for you kind comments on my blog about my soon to be surgery. Drop in again. :)

  9. What a well trained dog. I have a little dancing queen with Precious- total airhead but when someone is dancing she tried to mirror them but on 4 legs.

  10. Hi Robin,
thanks for stopping by my blog & commenting... wow 10 summers in Santa fe? That's awesome. I can see how you would miss it, but you are in a beautiful place, too... so much beauty in the world...

Ok, that dog has got to be part human or something!

  11. well, what is my problem. you are so dear to me and i have missed FOUR posts?!!! my biggest problem is i cannot get my feeder to tell me you have a new post so i don't logically click when i should clacking without the click.

thank you for forgiving me, robin, and for being so patient with me.

now, i have not watched this video. i've read the comments and i am afraid i will be upset by how long the dog stands so tonight will not be the night :) i can't help thinking that a loving dog will wag its tail for its owner even at great personal sacrifice.

but i might watch it later.

i love you, robin. please know that!

  12. I never get feeds from your blog either Robin, and I'm not at all sure why! Pretty amazing video. I've never seen a dancing dog before (what a sheltered life I lead!). That dog dances better than I do by a long chalk. xx Jos

  14. Chris, thank YOU for stopping by... I love Border Collies, my friend Annie has one....

I agree with you...some dogs are "naturals"...and there seems to be true love there between man and dog.

I will be thinking of you when you have your surgery. You will be fine!

    Hugs,

  17. "KJB"... I have no idea of why my blog does not feed......I have done everything possible to correct this problem.....but alas, no luck.

Anyway, you KNOW there is nothing to forgive...I write when I feel like it, and I like my bloggy friends to read my posts when they think about me... so I am fine with this.

I hope you do look at the video....the doggie really looks happy...

    Love you......

  18. Jos, see my comment to KJ....it's a complete mystery to me too.... these days, my life is pretty sheltered too.... I only stumbled on the "Salsa Dog" by accident!

I am always happy to "see" you drop by!

Autumn must really be there in England now.....I remember it as such a gorgeous time.... it will be Guy Fawkes Day before you know it!

    Love,

    ♥ Robin ♥

  21. regarding the posts - I think it has something to do with the security. On your blog I post my comment, and then have another screen where the security words comes up. On other blogs, the security word is seen on the first screen - do you think that has anything to do with not getting feeds?? sorta extra security?
