"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."

Animal Wednesday - The Return of Maru!

You may remember Maru, the cat who lives in Japan!  Suki and I both did a post about him last year.  This video came my way via an Opera friend... Maru's *owner* put a stick inside the drain....and Maru was determined to get it out!  Enjoy!

HAW!

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

  2. So cute the way in the middle of his task he sits on top of the drain to protect it. LOL. He reminds me of myself trying to attain a seemingly impossible goal. We both keep trying despite no results.

    1. Ah Suki....I think Maru's *Owner* finally opened the drain and he joyfully retrieved the stick!

I think you WILL see positive results too! Believe in YOU....I do and so do we all!

  4. Oh, pooor Maru!
I feel his frustration. I've had days like that, oh yes!
But in the end we curl up, accept what can't be changed, and become content.
Beautiful he is, and what a sweet face!

  5. We both sat here and wondered if he could ever give up, but I suspect that a cat would rather die than to give up. He is adorable and I hope that your Spring is much better than ours.

It is raining and cold and my poor roses are shivering and I am up and baking! Don't worry I am taking one step at a time and trying hard not to over do it. When are you coming? I want to be totally healthy by then so we can have lunch at the Chinese Garden, I am sure you will love it. Hugs from here.
