Living in a City surrounded by water on three sides....there is a lot of BLUE to be found. (Of course, not always in the grey, foggy *Summer* sky!) But, whenever one encounters anything BLUE, it really brightens one's spirit, don't you agree?
At least three shades of BLUE in this photo ! |
This little Guy IS a Blue Bird...his feathers underneath are blue, blue, BLUE! |
I took this from my roof last October - it' s the BLUE ANGELS flying in a Blue Sky! I had to use it! |
I wish I didn't find trash in every colour I post about....people are so lazy and thoughtless! I did pick this up and remove it! |
Delighted to find a Blue Austin Cooper! |
And.....for my "Piece d'Resistance*... Mr. Stellar Blue Jay...isn't he the most beautiful shade!!!
I hope this homage to BLUE brightened your day! It did mine!
Love,
♥ Robin ♥
It brightened mine as well - blues and greens are my favorites - so soothing. And I adore hydrangeas.
ReplyDeleteCS, you always strike me as a *Blue-Green* Girl! I am really glad to brighten your day! And I love Hydrangeas too!!!!

Babs....you are right! I never gave it much thought until I began posting about a specific colour....and once I decided on what colour, suddenly I seemed to *see* that colour wherever I went!

ReplyDeleteWonderful bluesy stroll, my dear!
We'll talk soon.

Lo
Your blue post also fits with Animal Wednesday. I love all this blue. The Stellar moment is my favorite though. Happy Blue Animal Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa! It's always great when you stop by! I agree....I am totally smitten with those Stellar Jays.... I keep *asking* them to *present* me with a feather!
DeleteHugs,
♥ Robin ♥
I don't when I last saw a Cooper. I used to own two Austin Americas, but that was in the '70s.
ReplyDeleteI tried to adjust to Oregon winters by counting the many shades of gray, but it's didn't work--I still hate them.
Snow....isn't that the coolest car! I was so happy to find a Blue one - in time for my post!
DeleteI INTEND to do a Colour Post on Gray one of these days....will surprise you, my friend!
Love,
♥ Robin ♥
I love your color posts. This one is wonderful. Love the Blue angles flying in the Blue sky. Great shot. Wonder what you will find next. I think I need to start looking at colors like you do. :))
ReplyDeleteCris.....it's really fun to do these.....once I decide which colour will be my next one...I just start looking - everywhere I go.... it's really amazing how many varieties of every colour there are!
DeleteHave a fantastic weekend....I hope you and Con don't do much....time for rest and relaxation - as you enjoy your garden!
Love to all 4,
♥ Robin ♥
It ALWAYS brightens my day to visit your blog Robin. I love the studies in blue ... yes even the trash and I do so agree about the thoughtlessness that leads to trash of all colours being all too readily found.
ReplyDeleteThe sky in your first shot looks amazing. Isn't it funny how the skyscape changes such a lot and yet we hardly ever notice?
I have been away from home for the last few weeks Robin but am glad as ever to drop by not least to send you a warm hug and agree with you about staying in touch. I hope you are well. xx Jos
Dear Jos...it ALWAYS brightens my day when you come to visit!
ReplyDelete*Once upon a time*...I never noticed the skyscapes.....but now, I am always aware....and rejoicing in the beauty of Nature's pallette!
I am so happy you have done a bit of MUCH-NEEDED travel!!! It's the best thing for one's heart and soul.
I am doing very well......and hope you are too, my friend. (Knowing full well all that you are currently facing.....)
Will send you an e-mail soon.....
Love and STRENGH Always,
♥ Robin ♥
"...blue were the skies, blue were your eyes,
ReplyDeletejust like the blue skirt you wore.
Come back, oh lady come back.
Don't be blue any more!
Sorry for the delay - tech problems
I'm sorry I took so long to get here! What a wonderful assortment of wonderful blues! This makes me think of the blue pearl of our highest selves . Blue is the most spiritual color.
ReplyDeleteEven the trash stands out. I didn't know blue was a favorite color of mine until just now :-)
Mucho gracias :-)
Love
