Suki asked if I would photograph the Street Sign the next time I use the Lyon Street Steps as my *personal StairMaster*.....so today, I did! Come along as I go down 150 steps - then up - then down then....well, you get it! A-ha-ha!
Half way down (or up) ....just an elegant reminder of where you are! |
Half Way Point |
The second sets of steps are narrower, steeper....you must concentrate so you don't trip - especially on foggy, damp days!
More beautiful homes....
Pant, pant....almost at the finish!
The End!
You started in Pacific Heights....and now, you are in the Marina District! In the distance, you can see the Palace of Fine Arts (home of my beloved Swans).. not going there today because....
It's time to climb back up! (And then down and up once more!)
Hope you enjoyed working out with me! Suki, I hope you smiled at this post!
Love to all,
♥ Robin ♥
O--M--G!!!
ReplyDeleteI was barely making it up and down the house steps today~~totally forgot how many and how STEEP San Fran steps are!
But really cool seeing the vistas from where you walk. I'd be inspired to get out too!

These are just gorgeous steps. Thanks Robin. I love both those signs too. I wonder if the steps have been in any movies? If I ever get back to SF I will have to check them out even though I feel I have "seen" them through your gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteHope you didnt get too winded.
saw your note about the museum. I'll have to check that out. There is a museum in Manchester that is now an art museum I believe but I didnt know about the whale skeleton.
I seem to recall seeing whale items both on Nantucket and in New Bedford museums.
THanks again for the steps. love, Ski
Up and down ....again?? I am very impressed!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots, and wow...up and down and up and down. My my
I am panting here.....Time for a break and a cup of coffee ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful area that is.
Be careful with those wet leaves on the steps so you wont slip.
Missed you yesterday.......Won't give up
