"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."

Monday in the Park

Ah, I am feeling better....no *Invaders* for five days....sigh... most of you have no idea how incredible it feels to NOT have strangers pawing through your home.... trust me, you would hate it and I hope you NEVER have to endure it.

On to brighter things...my mini-holiday from Opera helped a lot....and I was able to return to the final *Lohengrin* last Friday to enjoy.... now, we are in rehearsal for out final opera of 2012, *Tosca*.....my God....can we really have gone through the season so quickly?  I guess so....

The weather has turned cold (for SF)..high 30's in the morning, low 50's in the afternoon.... but, I HAD to get out today to enjoy the sunshine and walk amid Nature.  (My recipe for peace and tranquility..)

Here's what I saw today:

My *Enchanted Lake* where I saw the Red Fox...

Black Muscovies!  (Not the ones in Stow Lake.)

Brown Muscovies!  (Also not the Stow Lake ones.  Don't they look like they were waiting for me to take their photos?)

I did NOT place these flowers into this lovely Lilac Circle....it was all Mother Nature's doing!

Last....but, not least  a-ha-ha!  As we enter the *Tosca* rehearsal phase, I HAD to model one of the hats!!!!

I have missed posting to you all....but I was overwhelmed with stress and sadness....I am slowly climbing out of that well of depression....THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE UNDERSTOOD AND HELPED ME.

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

    1. Thank you Snow.... I haven't been around the blogs too much as of late....stress will do that to one... but, as YOU know, surrounding oneself with Nature is a great healer and strengthener.

    1. Hello Dear Twin! It was lovely to see you here... thank you for your continued good wishes....it means a lot.

As for the feathery *Tosca* Hat...this production is set during the Napoleonic Era...hence the hat style! I won't know until tomorrow's Final Dress who wear this particular hat...a-ha-ha!

      Love, always,

  4. I have had to endure what you have endured. Lots of times and it never gets easier. When one rents like we did years ago you are at the mercy of the places being sold and they always seem to sell where we lived. or if you sell your own place its hard too. So I understand how you feel. Glad you found solace in nature. Its a wonderful heart healer. ♥

    1. Hi Lynn...I wrote about my *house hell* a few posts back...the apartment where I have lived for 18 years is being sold.
What this means to me, depends on who buys it and what they mean to do with it....meanwhile, I live in a constant state of stress.... being able to take long walks helps.... as I am truly alone in dealing with this.

Thank you for the compliment...you made me smile!

      Love,

  6. You look so great in hats. and nature is being so kind to you too. yes, it is great to take a walk in beauty.

i looked your apt up on the net and it says the sale is "pending." Not sure how accurate that web site was, but it could explain fewer folks tramping through.

    1. Suki...you are so sweet...you know more about my building than I do...no one is giving us any information...

I am exhausted....all of this has taken its toll....particularly when one is by oneself. (You know this.)

Sooner or later, I will know my fate...and then I can deal with it...it's living in *Limbo* that is hellish.

      Love to you and Bibitty,
