"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."
Oh....I adore this ad from Cartier. (The jewelry - not so much..) But what a magical video! HAW! It made me weep with its wistful beauty.....(but you all know what a *wuss* I am ....I cry when I am happy or sad...)
Cris, I'm glad you saw this - because I love the music too...it brings you right along side the Tiger on his journey. I'd never seen anything quite like it!
Oh my gosh, Robin, you are a true twin of the heart - this video is right up my alley as well - that was visual poetry, operatic in scope. I can totally see why it grabbed you - all of that mystery and verve of life packed into a jewel - Cartier's ad people really know what they are doing!
oh my it's just gorgeous! love the images and the feeling of the piece - and the music. I think he's a leopard, a tiger has stripes I think. lovely and thanks for sharing
Mim and Suki - you are both right! He is indeed a Leopard. I really DO know the difference - but - must have had a *Blonde* Moment as I was typing! a-ha-ha! I am thrilled you saw ad loved the ad...it is truly unique....
Love to you both - I am off to work the *Girl With a Pearl Earring* Exhibit this morning......
Robin, how does one follow your blog? If I had you on my reading list I'd be here more often. That gives me a heads up that you have posted something. Lovely Video!
Hi Lynn! I wish I knew the answer to your question as to how to follow my blog.... certain people, Lo, Teri and Cris have been able to do so from the beginning....perhaps they will be able to enlighten you... others, like Suki and Marianne, just have to play it by ear... no matter what, I am always thrilled to have you come visit!
Love to you ......and of course, Mon Cher Henry! ♥♥
Oh wow we enjoyed it both very much here...... How magical! We saw Life of Pi yesterday ;) Those big felines know the way to touch my heart ;) Have a nice day Princess! ♥M
I'm happy you saw this..... I was truly enchanted when I did. I have not seen "Life of Pi" yet....but intend to this week! (Yes, I know how those felines touch your heart!)
A lover of all of life's beauties - music, poetry, nature, animals, the ever-changing moon, the smell of jasmine at twilight. Thunder and lightning in the Summertime. The smell of Pinon after the rain. Running through crisp, multi-coloured Autumn leaves with my favourite Chocolate Lab, Walking in the first snowfall of Winter and tasting snow on my tongue. Believing in the power of love - no matter what...
Couldn't get any sound but I have seen this before.. Amazing shoot. HAW

What do you do when you're in-between?
Snow...why in La Belle France, of course - and in some places here too!
DeleteAs for my *in-between* states, why, I laugh *manically*!
A-ha-ha!
