"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."

Animal Wednesday....*Eco-friendly Lawnmowers* and other Critters

Hah! I know you were expecting Cygnet photos!

But, first, I am sharing the photos I took as I ascended the Lyon Street Steps on Tuesday!  I was greeted with an astounding sight!

Goats!  Yes....Goats *hired* to munch through the grass and overgrown bushes in the Presidio!

Love Mr. 1/2 & 1/2!

Goats and Owls share the same wise, magical gaze...

Nap time....after a huge lunch!

Other Critters...

Here I am after my dive!  Ah......feels good!

Hmmmm...  I feel I am being watched...

Looking for Dinner!

Okay, okay....my last Opera-Free day this week....you KNEW I was going to visit *My* Swans!

Papa Blue Boy was taking a nap....but he opened an eye to look at me because...

I wanted his feather!

Cygnet #1 (the remaining Grey) in the back...and Cygnet #2 (White) in front....they are getting sleepy...

Cygnet #2....settling down for a nap..

And the baby...#3... sound asleep....

I hope you liked my photos!  Tomorrow night - our SF Opera Opening Night of *Tales of Hoffman*!

I will try for some photos!

In the meantime.....HAW!
Love,

♥ Robin ♥

    1. Suki, witty girl! You are right though..the little Cygnet carries his down comforter with him all the time! The Goats are so adorable.... they seem to enjoy all the attention - and they do an excellent job of *mowing*!

  2. Such a treat to see the Swan family. I am suspecting the talented bearded landscapers are part of a head butting union. :)

  3. I love your city's 'green' approach to landscaping!! Who would have thought to let goats roam free on public space? I could use a few of them in my yard this summer!

Hoping you are well dear twin ~ sending love and hugs xoxo
