"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."
I *met* these four Ravens on Wednesday....they were flying all round my neighbourhood - cawing LOUDLY! So, I had to go up on my roof and film them.... I was surprised when they decided to join me *up on the roof* and played *hide and seek*! So, without further ado....my video *An Unkindness of Ravens*!
It's always such a thrill to get your encouraging comments and hugs on my etegami posts. The name for ravens in Japanese is "migratory crows," and apparently they can be found in Hokkaido, where I live. I've never recognized one as a raven but I am endlessly fascinated with crows, which we have loads of.
what wonderful footage —— i loved seeing the close up of handsome mr. crow waddling across the rooftop speaking his mind — but my favorite part was hearing your lovely laugh ringing out!!! xxoo
A lover of all of life's beauties - music, poetry, nature, animals, the ever-changing moon, the smell of jasmine at twilight. Thunder and lightning in the Summertime. The smell of Pinon after the rain. Running through crisp, multi-coloured Autumn leaves with my favourite Chocolate Lab, Walking in the first snowfall of Winter and tasting snow on my tongue. Believing in the power of love - no matter what...
great video and also love seeing the rooftops.
ReplyDeleteThe video told me it was 'private' so I couldn't see it but sounds like a fun experience.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and all the raven sisters.
Sorry Teri...still working my way through *YouTube* posts....try again...Caw-caw! ♥
