"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."

Animal Wednesday

I haven't posted for *Animal Wednesday* in a bit...so much time spent a the Opera with *Two-Legged Animals*...a-ha-ha...but, now that October is here, I feel re-energised and  ready to share some *Critter Photos with you!  So, without further ado..

Mr. Snowy Egret at Lloyd Lake...he was so busy fishing, he let me come close (no zoom) and photograph him!

Taking a break from swimming...

Mr. Stella Jay... he looks angry....  guess he knows I ran out of peanuts!

Here are part (there are about 20) of the North Lake Raccoon Family... *deserting me* after I ran out of food!  A-ha-ha!

And now..for some Operatic Critters.....

Assorted Angels and Devils waiting to go on stage during opening night for *Mephistopheles*...

The Apple Tree Man...

One of the *Dolores Claiborne* Ladies....doesn't she look *proper*?

Wayne Tigges - who plays the evil husband of Dolores Claiborne,  Joe St. George.
(He's really a sweet guy with a great voice!)

For those of you who have asked for a bit of *Dolores Claiborne*....here's the SF Opera trailer for you....

HAW Everyone!

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

I like your pics and send them to mom when you have opera stuff. She loves it and is going to see "the nose" (?) soon, and just saw something else, wish I could remember. anyway - she says HI Robin! as do I

  6. October energizes me too, Robin. I love the smell of the air. The places I would go if I wasn't so housebound! I love your nature photos. Thank you.
