"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."

Animal Wednesday and My Birthday Hike

Don't they look real?

 Caw-Caw!

Here's the real thing! A-ha-ha!

The day was a mix of Sun and Grey...many lovely clouds..

As you can see, while I was at Crissy Field and Ft. Point, I caught the Golden Gate in both Sunlight and Approaching Clouds....

Look closely and you will see 2 Helicopters flying over the GG!

At the top right, a Bi-Plane!

But, wait....you wanted to see *Animals*......

Little Hummer looks lonely on the bare tree. but, he was still managing to find sweet nectar on a few remaining blooms!

Coots and Geese are returning!

*You lookin at me*?

Mr. Peli searching for lunch!

*I'm HUNGRY*!

*We are hungry too*!

Too bad they don't like Mushrooms!

 Too bad these aren't real....

Ah, this is more like it!

Doesn't get any fresher!  A-ha-ha!

Looking back towards the San Francisco Skyline...

Clouding up at the Palace of Fine Arts

If you follow me on FB, you know that *My Swans* are here...

Papa Blue Boy in the rear, the three Cygnets in front... (they are almost 6 months old)!  Look how the Grey  One is turning white!  Mama Blanche was in another corner of the Lagoon, having some *Me Time*!

Here was their Birthday Greeting to me~!

And...Mr. Pelican did find his lunch!

A wonderful Birthday Hike...and at the end, even the Clouds sent a greeting!

HAW!

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

  3. I love the shot of the clouds sending a greeting! And in your previous post, that image of the sunset is nothing short of amazing!! Did you take that from your window? If so, what a view! xoxo

  4. When I was in SF in March for my birthday I walk along this path to the bridge. How beautiful it is. How special for you to celebrate your birthday in this very same way.

  5. How lovely to see a hummingbird ! Ours left our neck of New England the end of September and won't be back till late April .
Was delightful to see the Golden Gate bridge as well.
Thank you so much for the share :)
