"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."

First Day of Spring

I am enjoying the first day of Spring! It is a good time to begin my blog and post my first entry. This past Winter, and in fact, this past year, have been difficult for me and for many of those I care about, but now, with the sun shining and the cherry blossom trees blooming, I feel some warmth returning to my heart.
This lovely tree resides in my neighbour's back yard. My yard and all the back stairs are covered with the pretty petals. Every time I look at it, I am uplifted....
♥ Sending love to all. ♥

  3. Finally I have a place to come to leave you messages and love.

Welcome to blogland Ms. Lilac Robin ;)

It's oh so nice to see you!

When I saw your name on the blogs and in my comments I pronounced your name Lila Crobin!

Okay, so it took me a while. But I knew you were special. Lilacs were my mother's favorite flower. That counts for a lot in my book.

The blog looks wonderful! I'll be a follower, gleefully ;)

  8. Lo, so honoured to have you read my blog...
Luv the story about "Lila Crobin"...too funny!
My Mother loved lilacs too - although Lily of the Valley were her favourites and every time I smell them, they remind me of her. She will have passed twenty six years ago next month - and I still miss her a lot.

    Love,
    ♥ Robin ♥

I love purple violet and lilac!
And your Spring post is wonderful ; what a tree!
here we have our first days with temperature with double figures: 14 degrees Celsius. All our trees are still without leaves, which is very late!
But it seems Spring is here and I am home just in time!
