"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."

Happy May Day!

Today is May 1st. In Victorian times, the Lily of the Valley symbolised a "Return of Happiness"..... so my wish is that when you see these lovely, delicate white flowers, you will know that May is ushering in a month of warmth, of joy, of happiness. Spring is here and it will bring renewal to all our spirits and love into our hearts.

Happy May Day to you!

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

  9. Suki, so glad you have some Lilies of the Valley close by.... just think - when they DO bloom, you can walk by and inhale that heavenly fragrance. As I posted last month, they were my Mother's favourite scent.... and a loving reminder of her.

I am thinking about you today - and hope you are either: out and about, exploring the back roads of your beautiful area...or, home, creating something beautiful - be it a collage, a painting or, writing a paragraph!

    Love,

    ♥ Robin ♥

  12. Hi KJ... yes, it feels good to be among such loving and warm friends... but, two more days though until the first "anniversary" of finding out about Chris' betrayal... and, May 1st marked the other "anniversary" of being out of work for a year... I awoke this morning feeling awful - sad, teary... alone.. I know this will pass... but it's hard sometimes......and I KNOW you KNOW....

Say a prayer for me ok... need to get past these next few days...

    Love,

    ♥ Robin ♥

  14. Dear Robin,

I have missed these flowers so much. My Dad used to buy me Lily of the Valley perfume.

I'm sorry this is a tough month for you. But typical you turned it around to shower love and blessings on the rest of us.

    You are a TRUE heart!

Big giant hugs across the way to the bay. May they find you ;)

    xoxo

  15. Lo, I DID find those hugs! Thank you for sending them.... I prefer to be strong and happy - it is the right way to live..... but, at times, one just gets crushed by pain, by memory of what once was....

Thank you for being an understanding friend.

How lovely your Father bought you the Muguet scent!

    Hugs to you, dearest Lo!

    Love,

    ♥ Robin ♥
