Animal Wednesday..... Sheep May "Safely" Graze and Other Furry Ones

In honour of KJ's gorgeous photos of sheep in snow....  here are two very different vignettes for you.

And now, something more bucolic....

Last....a few photos of some of my "Furry Ferals"....waiting for their "Waitress" (that's ME) to serve their dinner.  Sorry for the blurry photos....but it sort of adds to the frantic, frenetic scene!  They want their dinner - NOW!

HAPPY ANIMAL WEDNESDAY!

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

  7. Hi Mim! Never fear....I will keep "AW's" going when you can't.... I love posting theme!

And yes....my Furry group of five are doing well. My neighour and I have looked after them for seven years now. (We have had all of them spayed and neutered.)

    Love and Meows,

  8. Cher Mary-Laure,

The big, fluffy orange one is: Mr. Orange
    The black one is: Midnight
The two greys pictured are: Sterling and Smoke
    And....Charlie is not pictured....he's a big tiger-striped fellow.

Sadly, I fear the Mama cat has died....she was quite old (but feisty) - but we haven't seen her in a few months.... still, she had a pretty good life for a feral.

Hugs to you and "The Oracle",

    ♥ Robin ♥

  9. Lololooo......leave it to you to come up with such a witty comment! Yes, that ram was really "pissed"..... and the man's comment was so funny!

As for my ferals....as you know, my neighbour and I do try and look after them as best we can..... we love them...and they know it.

Love to you and "The Gang",

    ♥ LS ♥

  11. Suki..... wasn't that ram a hoot! It just goes to show how "human" an animal's reaction can be when something (or someone) is taken away from them!

Yes, I thought the video of the mother sheep with her baby, amid the gently falling snow was quite sweet.

Thinking of you a lot.....and sending love,

    ♥ Robin ♥

  12. Hi Cris... that ram was mad because the farmer had just sold off all the females....and left the male alone.... he missed his girlfriends!

Sending you and your Furry Ones a lot of love and many warm hugs,

    ♥ Robin ♥

  13. Funny! I did laugh at the ram. Your furry friends look very sweet too. I love the idea of a cat called Mr Orange. Seems quite regal for a feline.

Robin, you are right about "truth". Opinion is not truth in the absolute sense and never can be. It's only the truth as we see it. Opinion and truth can be vastly different at times. I see that.

Hope you have a lovely weekend. Ho ho ho, I am putting the tree up. Will you be doing that this year? I love the twinkly lights. Such a kid! xx Jos

  15. What videos!!!!! Never mess with animals I should say.
Those kitties are adorable!!! That red one, gorgeous!
It is snowing and blowing here!!!! Unusual for the time of the year. It is freezing and everything is white!!!
I am inside cozy and warm!

Hope you are doing ok dear!
You're an angel for taking care of those kitties ♥

  16. My that ram has a temper! I love what the farmer shouted at it!

We've got rain here- just a consistant drizzle. On the NE coast, some rural shops have run out of necessities with the roads being full of snow, so I'm not complaining.

  17. My Dear Jos - I love the name "Mr. Orange" too.... the first moment I saw him (as a wee little thing), the name popped into my mind!
I try not to have favourites... (but I confess I do love him a little more.... if I were allowed to have pets where I live....I would try "adopting" him.

I knew you would understand where I was coming from regarding "truth".... each person sees it in their own way.....but I feel real friends stand close and always support one another....

I so admire your courage in writing these posts!!!! You are one brave and intelligent woman!

Glad you are getting your home "Christmas-ised". I have done a bit - but - sigh no tree.
I don't have a car, plus would have to tote it up three flights of stairs...(no lift)... but, this year, I do have "Christmas" in my heart...I feel warm and loved by ao many people....

    Love,

    ♥ Robin ♥

p.s. I adore twinkly lights too!!!!

  18. Pam - I KNEW YOU would laugh when you saw the ram!

I am s-l-o-w-l-y beginning to work on Christmas... tomorrow is the final performance for SF Opera....so, of course, I will be there....after that - I will become a "Robin-Elf" and begin writing cards!

Sending you a Wintry - but - warm hug!

    Love,

    ♥ Robin ♥

  19. Hello Melanie! You have been on my mind because of that incredible snowfall in the UK!
I am glad you are all ok and stocked with provisions! Snow is gorgeous....but not that much fun to drive in..... I KNOW your home is already a Christmas "Wonderland".... you and Pam (see above comment) ARE two magical Elves when it comes to making the season come alive!

Ha-ha - didn't you just love the Farmer's comment! I laughed so much....and the ram looked as if he he'd understood it!

    Stay warm!!!

    Hugs to all,

    ♥ Robin ♥

  20. Marianne - mein liebe Freundin.... I am glas you and the Family are warm and safe inside.
The snow must be lovely though - much better (and cheerier) than the grey and brown Autumn you have had.

Yes - don't miss with an angry ram! (I love Lo's comment - a "battering ram"! She is so witty!)

Mr. Orange is indeed gorgeous....next time, I will have to photograph his face - he is a sweetie!

Ich schicke Du und alle die Familie viele, viele Grusse!!!!

    Kuss-Kuss!

  21. robin -- that video of the ram was quite entertaining! then i read in the comments that the farmer had just sold off all the females, so the male was taking out his frustration on the farmer -- ha! that'll teach him!! (hehe)
