"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."

Happy Winter, Happy, Blessed Christmas to ALL of You.

This beautiful album cover truly represents what is in my heart for all of you....my beloved blogging family.
I have no real family..... but thanks to Renee.....I have YOU...and you are indeed, my family.

I have left my Christmas *message* on my sidebar (my Voki image and my voice) as a Holiday Message.  This, in itself, is a gift from dear Vicki (*Nollyposh*)....who showed me how to do it.

Below....a few of my most beloved Christmas songs.....I hope you enjoy them.

It has been a particularly emotional year - both happy and tragic.  So many losses..both human and animal.....so many loved ones battling illness and heartache....I guess this comes with age....  but, one thing I do know - that also comes with age..is to realise and embrace true emotions.. and LOVE truly conquers all.  Every one of you is a shining, sparkling star in my life.  You enrich my spirit....I am profoundly grateful to know you. I love you all.

Blessings,

♥ Robin ♥

  1. Wow, what a beautiful post! I love Loreena McKinnett and I own lots of her music. I wasn't familiar with this song though, and you know I love the cover...esp the raven ;)

The cello is one of my favorite instruments, so soulful and mello. I enjoyed this very much.

All of the videos say so much by showing us what's in your heart this time of year.

And YES, you are family. I love you LS.

    Merry Always,

    Lo♥BS

many wishes for a happy christmas and new year, and hopes to see you again this year. love Mim

  7. Mim... yes, I did see his cello string break....I loved the intensity of his playing - and of course, the dramatic scenry really embellished the song....(one of my favourites).

I, too, am happy we saw each other this year - it was a lovely day filled with laughter and friendship! Here's to 2012! (Perhaps we will both get dogs!)

    Love to you and *T*,

  15. i'm back a several days thereafter but appreciative to hear the ringing of the bells none-the-less. this post is a reciprocal love letter to and from, so heartwarming; affections among friends. who would have believed it?

the world is smaller and the love is greater. that is a wonderful gift to carry into a new year.

cupcakes in 2012. probably. and i think much more.
