Animal Wednesday - Menino Sings Mozart

I found this adorable video of Menino, the Parrot, singing the "Queen of the Night" Aria from Mozart's "Die Zauberflaute" - or - "The Magic Flute". It's one of the most difficult arias a Soprano (or a Parrot) can sing....and I thought he did an excellent job!

Bravo, Menino! Enjoy everyone!

    This made me smile! my mom was an opera singer and my brothers parrot used to imitate her - it was hysterical!!!

    Mim, how wonderful your Mother sang opera! And, how great (and funny) that your brother's parrot wanted to "sing" too! Animals (furry and feathered) are so amazing!

    wow! pretty amazing.

    totally cracked me up. Robin, I thought I subscribed to your blog, and I even see my picture over there, however i havent been getting your new posts on my bloglist. will have to check that out.

    by the way, my friend old pajamas introducted me to Werner Herzog and i have in the last few years seen many of his movies. amazing.

    Suki - so nice you "found" me! I am glad you came to visit. I think I am liking "OP" more every day...he writes wonderfully, he plays baseball and...he likes Werner Herzog! I just "discovered" Werner's films last year and was immediately "hooked". I saw him direct the best "Lohengrin" ever - in Bayreuth, Germany, several years ago..... I knew then he was something special.
