Animal Wednesday - Mockingbird Melodies
Ah, our warm, *Summery* weather has faded away as the SF Fog declared "two days was enough"! It's 30 degrees cooler...
Anyway, above is a small vignette of a Mocking bird (not *my* Mocker - but very, very like in size and song) serenading his neighbourhood! Hopefully, this one does NOT begin at 3:00 a.m.! HAW-HAW!
Happy Animal Wednesday!
Love,
♥ Robin ♥

Hi Lori.... yes, as much as fog can be stifiling...after long days in extreme heat, it is a blessing. I loved your post, by the way....I am spending so much time at the Opera, I don't visit as much as I should....
ReplyDeleteStunning photos m' dear!!
Kiss Owen!

Hi CS....I figured you for a *Mockingbird Girl"!
ReplyDeleteThey are so talented.... and how can one be upset when they sing their tiny hearts out - even at 3:00 a.m.!!!
Hope your Summer is going gorgeously!
Hugs,
♥ Robin ♥
Suki, yes, thick, low-lying fog IS mysterious and romantic, but pale grey constant overcast is another thing... I am always sun-needy....
ReplyDeleteOpera is definitely NOT over....we have just begin Cycle 2 of our "Ring"...one more Cycle after that....it all ends 3rd July.
More photos taken last night.....will post them soon!
Love to you and Bibitty,
♥ Robin ♥
Marianne... the *Weather-Gods* heard you...there is a bit of sun peeking through the clouds! Blue skies are so inspiring!!!!
ReplyDeleteMr. Mockingbird is singing away as I write this.... I wonder how his little vocal cords can produce so much sound for so long a time!
How was Panama?
Love,
♥ Robin ♥
I love this little video! such a funny bird. as I was watching it struck me that this bird makes all those sounds without LIPS! Now I know that no birds have lips...but it still struck me as funny somehow.
ReplyDeleteHappy animal wednesday - LAte me
sweet little dude, singing his heart out! i adore mockingbirds — think i told you we had one in our neighborhood one summer and miss him so!
ReplyDeleteHallo Robin,
i can't listen to the video because i am sitting with company and all but i are watching a movie, BUT: i have become a true blue bird fan. i hear the warbles each morning and i watch the quick movements and turns of their heads and i know the world is alright.
ReplyDeletebut still my favorite: when the red red robin comes bob bob bobbing alone...
love
