"This is the violet hour, the hour of hush and wonder, when the affectations glow and valor is reborn, when the shadows deepen along the edge of the forest and we believe that, if we watch carefully, at any moment we may see the unicorn."
I send you a 1000 ♥♥♥♥♥ for that photo from the Palace of Fine Arts.....did you hear the big "Ahhhhh....." all the way from Indiana??? Lovely. Most lovely. (and I love blue herons; we have them here and they seem to fly so effortlessly and sloooow)
I took a slew of photos of the Palace and will post them soon! I hadn't been down there in years..... it is wonderful!!! and yes....I heard your "Ahhhhhhh""!
Ah Cris, you have been on my mind a lot these past few days...I am glad you visited here and found a little enjoyment in my photos. Sending you and Con many, many hugs......
Suki..there are many hearts.....they are scattered all over the City.... but I wil take some photos of the ones I can easily get to.....(hard to get to many neighbourhoods from where I live without a car..)
another fun stroll, robin. i like suki's idea! lo and i did that: looked for hearts and found them everywhere. maybe we should all do that again. hmmmmmm.....
i honestly cannot believe your absence of sun. i don't know how long i could handle that. :^( i hope it shines high and bright tomorrow
so glad you had a tiny bit of sun at least, i wish it were more. the fog has been almost as frequent here too, it has to be the seriously overheated inland... san francisco does look so lovely in your photos though (in the fog) and i would love to have taken that walk with you. hello gulls and heron!
I just came from Lolo's blog with a heron painting and my post-before-last had a picture I took of both a Great Blue Heron and a Green Heron - what great synchronicity!
A lover of all of life's beauties - music, poetry, nature, animals, the ever-changing moon, the smell of jasmine at twilight. Thunder and lightning in the Summertime. The smell of Pinon after the rain. Running through crisp, multi-coloured Autumn leaves with my favourite Chocolate Lab, Walking in the first snowfall of Winter and tasting snow on my tongue. Believing in the power of love - no matter what...
By the way, Robin, dear, would mind terribly wrapping that heart up and sending it to me?
ReplyDeleteAh, Snow.....if I could find a way to unearth it and send it to you.....I WOULD!!!!! Just will have to accept a big hug and many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'s from me!
ReplyDelete♥ Robin ♥
